We are happy to announce that indoor worship services will begin on Sunday, May 30, 2021. We are changing, slightly, the way in which worship is conducted. We will continue to sit socially distanced from those who are not in our immediate “bubble”. In accordance with CDC recommendations masks do not need to be worn by those who are fully vaccinated. We ask that if you wish to join us for worship services and you are not yet fully vaccinated that you wear a mask while with us. We do have masks and hand sanitizer available. Worship services begin at 10:00 am. If circumstances change we will post a message here on our website. You may visit our YouTube channel: “Chester Congregational Baptist Church” to view our previous services. Previous virtual services can be found by going the Worship tab, then the “Virtual Services” page, or our YouTube channel.
The Chester Community Food Pantry will be open on Saturday, August 28th from 9am to noon in the Church Vestry.
We will be having a book study beginning on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 6:30 pm in the church basement. Attendees may enter from the basement door on the Rt 102 side of the church. Everyone will need to obtain their own copy of the book, either on Kindle, tablet, iPad, phone or good old paper. The book we will be discussing is Jesus and the Disinherited by Howard Thurman. The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King carried this book with him. It is available locally at Barnes and Noble and also on Amazon.
Bad Weather/Storm Cancellations:
During in-person worship, we will post Church service cancellations on WMUR. The information can be found on WMUR channel 9 or on the WMUR website.

Catch the Spirit!
Come and experience the love of God in Christian community and worship.
We are God’s people, gathered into a community of faith in the heart of our small town. We provide an open and welcoming physical and spiritual center for worship, fellowship, support, Christian education, service, and outreach to one another, the community, and the world. We celebrate the rich and varied religious heritage of our congregation, yet we are a united and caring church family, knit together in love by our common faith in Jesus Christ. We strive to embody Christ’s love and teachings in our living and being, and to share our faith, talents, and resources with others through our mutual ministry in His name.
