  • Am a member of the Ministers Council for the American Baptist Churches. In the past served on Ministers Council Senate representing New Hampshire. In New York and the Cleveland area served on Regional and Associational Committees on Ministry. Wherever I served I was a member of the local clergy groups.
  • Since Junior High School have been involved as camper, counselor, pastor, director, Bible Study leader, photography teacher, worship leader, and board member in the camping ministries in different regions of the American Churches, USA. • Taught Church History class for the Lay Ministry Program of the Mid-Hudson/Union Association during the fall of 2012.
Throughout my life as a pastor, I have been involved in ecumenical clergy groups. In the Albany, New York area I was involved with the Capital Area Council of Churches by serving on Committees and participating in the CROP Walk.
  • In the Middletown community my involvement was more on the Interfaith level rather than simply ecumenical. I volunteered and trained volunteers at the Warming Station for the homeless, participated in the CROP Walk with Suzie the dog (who earned more money than I did), participated in the Thanksgiving and Good Friday services, and preached at the Promenade (an assisted living facility).
  • Hobbies – photography, reading, bicycling, sports, doing things like hiking. With two previous dogs I would skijor where the dogs pulled me on x-country skis. Suzie has done ministry with me as she did things like visit shut-ins and attend prayer meetings. When I lived out west, I backpacked into the Primitive Area of central Idaho, camped in Yellowstone and Teton National Parks and went cross country skiing near Old Faithful in Yellowstone in the winter.
